We invite you to submit proposals to disseminate research in the field of SPEDDR that is taking place within the UC System.
Topics include, but are not limited to the following: treatment and interventions related to disability; families and disabilities; English learners with special needs; teaching and learning as it relates to SPEDDR; cultural and linguistic differences; policy development and implementation.
Completed empirical research and/or research in progress is welcome.
SPECIAL NOTE:

We welcome submissions from any graduate and post-doctoral University of California student. Please indicate your order of preference of presentation format: spoken paper, round table discussion, or poster. Spoken papers and round table discussions will be presented to an audience of graduate and post-doctoral peers, while interactive presentations (posters) will be presented during a session attended by peers and faculty members.
The Review Committee will attempt to honor your requests but reserves the right to assign submissions to either paper sessions or poster sessions depending on the number of submissions of closely related topics. Group submissions will be considered.
In order to be accepted, abstracts of materials must be submitted no later than
NOVEMBER 18, 2007. You will be notified by December 10th about your acceptance.

All attendees (presenters and non-presenters) must register to attend the conference.
All presenters must register no later than December 17, 2007 in order to guarantee their presentation slot.
- General registration (non-presenters) must be submitted no later than January 4, 2008.
- Early Registration is $15 on or by December 17, 2007 (strongly recommended)
- Late Registration is $25 on or by January 4, 2008
- Walk-in Registration (space permitting) is $30 – no food.
